What is Spiritual Direction?

About all of life, not just what you might label as “spiritual.” All of your life affects your spirituality and your spiritually affects all of your life.
 

Holy listening that helps you to become more fully aware of who God created you to be and to sink your roots into God’s grace.
 

A companion who will listen to your life challenges without giving you advice or telling you what to do. You have the wisdom within you to meet your challenges, but may need someone to help you uncover it.
 

A way to find self-acceptance, meaning, healing, and wholeness.
 

A time for open, honest communication with another in a confidential, non-judgmental setting.
 

For ALL seekers. You do not need to be Lutheran, Christian, or even religious to meet with a spiritual director.
